About the project

Research should change a decision, not just fill a reading list.

Cited Leadership is an independent project that helps school leaders tap into serious education research and use it in their own school context.

What we publish

We prioritise original research, major evidence reviews and trusted public institutions. Each brief states what is new, how strong the evidence is, where it may fit, and seven questions to help leaders deliberate in their own context.

What we do not do

We do not treat commentary, vendor claims or a single attractive statistic as settled evidence. We do not copy another publisher’s language or imply that findings from one system transfer automatically to every school.

For every school leader

Heads, principals, deputies, department heads, coordinators, middle leaders and aspiring leaders can use the public briefs. Every source keeps its original school system and setting visible; international schools remain a focused collection within this broader readership.

Why context matters

Schools differ in language, curriculum, resources and local rules. A useful brief must help leaders examine transferability, not hide it.

Editorial standard

Claims sit beside citations. Evidence strength and limits are explicit. Reflection questions are offered for local discussion; they are not presented as tested interventions. Fictional scenarios are labelled when used.

Editorial responsibility and evidence review

Cited Leadership editorial team is the accountable organizational editorial byline. The publication is operated by TOO Bagdarly Kadam, BIN 241040038701. This organizational byline identifies responsibility for the publication; it is not a claim of a named academic author, external peer review or endorsement.

Briefs distinguish what a source reports, editorial interpretation and proposed school action. Each refreshed brief states the material actually reviewed, design, setting and limits. Full text, selected sections, publisher summaries and abstracts are different review scopes. An accessible DOI confirms a source’s identity, not the truth of a recommendation.

International, England and US settings stay visible. Local-fit questions and worksheets are original discussion aids unless stated otherwise; they are not validated assessment scales. Fictional examples are labelled and contain no confidential school material.

Research may be found and drafts prepared with automated assistance. Cited Leadership remains responsible for the published selection, sourcing and interpretation. No separately named external reviewer is claimed for this refresh.

For corrections, email hello@citedleadership.com with the page, claim and original source. Material corrections should be recorded on the affected page with the change and date. The source-review record distinguishes access and review scope; a review date is separate from a paper’s publication date.
